Our talent youth worker, Sharna Gayle, has been recognised for her positive impact on young people with a Jack Petchey Leader Award. Members of our weekly Girls Session nominated Sharna for the award, describing her as “kind”, “caring” and “trustworthy”. We couldn’t have put it better ourselves!
The group decided to spend the award grant on refurbishing their club TV/lounge space, and have been busy making plans and painting walls since. Look out for ‘before and after’ pictures here soon…
