It has been an exciting year for KYC.
There have been a number of positive changes. These include new Senior Youth Workers, a broader service delivery including working with two local schools, and many more residential trips on offer for young people to get away and experience something totally different to their day to day.
We have also been working hard behind the scenes. We have created (with the help of young people) a new logo and have developed a brand new website.
And to top it off, George Clarke, architect and TV presenter most well-known for Channel 4’s Restoration Man and Amazing Small Spaces, has become KYC’s official Patron.
To celebrate these and more, we’ll be hosting a community event at KYC on Friday 15th September. There will be plenty of activities for the family to get stuck into, have a selfie with George and time for the grown ups to chat with the team. Light bites and drinks will be available too.
